Yesterday I received an email stating that my access to my account has been limited. i did all the steps to restore it, but one: The address verification. When I opened the account last year, I was in the US, and used my US CC. Now I am in Kosovo, and I couldn't verify my address. I sent an email to them, but reading all the horrorr stories around here, I am a little sceptic. Is there any hope I will get it back? My other question would be this: i bought some domains and paid some people with paypal, now paypal has put all the payments on hold, does this mean that if I won't be able to restore it, my domain registrar will cancel my domains (i hope not after all the linkbuilding) thanks in advance for answers.
Why don't you give them a phone call and let them know of your issue That way you will get response quick. DON.
Officially speaking when you leave the US for a long term or for good, you should closed the US account and open a new one in the country you are residing. Since Kosovo is not listed as a supported Paypal country, you probably cannot open a paypal account. Do you still maintain your US address, otherwise you be very stuck.
thanks guys for the responses. @don, I tried calling but all agents were busy. They sent me an email back today, stating that my account has been restored [they were very fast, 1 day after I sent them the email]. , am surprised by the quick response.
