Study the products first and then form your keywords as according to the nature of the products you choose. Make sure that the keywords you choose are generally used by the people to reach your website.

I disagree with prasanth, take your keyword, head ower to the google keword tool and look for similar keywords to yours. Be sure that you check in the "exact" option to make sure that the results are more realistic and choose the ones with the highest global searches.

You should do research on your competition as well so you know what your competitors are using. :)

I suggest you look at the products as well as the niche your site will be about. Look at other sites within the niche, the sales pages for the products ... these will help you get keywords to target on your site. Once you have a list of possible keywords to target, you can use the Google External Keyword tool to check for competition on these keywords.

Hope that helps. Have a good day!

Select the keywords and keyword phrases based on your products, check them with Google Adwords keyword tool and select the keywords with high monthly search results and medium or low competition rate.

There are a few websites that you can use to find out the best keywords for your products or websites, the sites are as follow:keyworddiscovery.com/goodkeywords.com/tools.seobook.com/adwords.google.com/freekeywords.wordtracker.com I hope that helps a little bit. Remember to take into consideration keywords with HIGH searches and LOW competition for your chosen description or title of your services or products.

Software is going to be the biggest help, the main ones are ultimate niche finder and long tail pro, with these pieces of software you find seed keywords for your niche and then it expands on those and shows you what is best to target first.

The buzz is to focus on long tail keywords. You can using, of course, Google keyword tool for starters and you may want to check online for some other free services

As far as I am concerned, you can do this task by using Google Ad-word Tool. At first, choose your keyword from your website and find them in Google Ad-word Tools. They will show you the monthly search result and Globally search result and competition result. From there, you should the keyword which has low competition, huge monthly search and globally search.

Study all about your website first.... and then find out your competitors by searching with the same keyword that you wish to use in your site. You will get a big list of competitors, select first 2, 3 sites and check their keyword. After making a list of best keywords check their competition in google keyword selector tool. Please select the keywords which have low competition and more than 1000 global search.
    Thank you
