    Hello DP Members,

    The person name : ''Mechanical'' is a scam, and does not pay for the services that i provide him.
    How can i report of this person? i want all the DP members know about him and banned him from digital point.
    Help me out.

    This is the right place for a "name and shame" thread.
    There are real world avenues to pursue when someone breaches a contract.

    I don't need any payment or guarantees for the money. I just need to tell all the DP fellows to know that don't work with this person, so in future no one else hurt and also other members who think of doing this, they will remember that some one else does and he got banned.
    I want digital point to banned him from here.

    I see, thank you for the warning. Unfortunately I've heard about so many scams last time. I've faced it a few days ago too. My client owes me 500$ and he just doesn't answer my messages any more. So always be alert and try to work on some platforms which gives you the guarantte you'll be paid.

    Name and Shame threads belong in General Chat, which is what I was referring to as "the right place".
    Moderators don't act as judge and jury for the transactions that happen here.

    With the type of dispute that @Jennifer Frost and @Mechanical are having the old system was just as flawed. Link Sales would be difficult to programmatically monitor.

    The old system was flawed but this system isn't any better. As far as protecting buyers is concerned, I think the old system was better.

    He won't get banned for this, @sarahk just said that DP doesn't act as judge and jury.

    We all need to protect ourselves which means using escrow services and due diligence.

    Yes. 5 years ago, the old system has iTrader where you can lead a negative review. Now, all you can do is just leave a negative feedback on the thread. There is not much you can do.

    You cant do anything other than reporting him by creating Thread. This forum does not take scammer seriously as compared to Blackhatworld. Just a honest opinion.
