How can I remove an inbound link.

My question is regarding inbound links. I have some links I want to remove, for several reasons and although I have contacted the persons involved I have received no reply. Is there any other way that I can stop someone linking to me?

    Thanks...

You can remove your page so it doesn't land anywhere. That's all there is you can do. A webmaster is free to link to wherever they want. Unless they are linking to illegal content (which would mean your content is illegal).

Other than asking, there really is nothing you can do... good luck

So if for example I have a PR8 site selling hair products, someone with a crappy PR-0 site can link to me? If that's so wouldn't that have a detrimental effect on my overall rankings, PR etc??

This should not effect your PR rating. Most if not all links will help your SERP's and PR, not decrease it.

Nope. It will only affect your ranking and PR if you link to that site.

Not at all. If that was true the internet would be a warzone. No one can hurt you by linking to you. Even a 'bad' link is a vote for you so you should be happy, not worried.

There is no other way than to talk to the webmaster of the site linked to your site.
