Yes, use the cpanel to connect to phpmyadmin, look for the url and use it directly... voilà

Well, I work with infinityhost.com and fxdomains.com as my hosting providers, and both cpanel allow me to do a direct access to the phpmyadmin page. Maybe your provider has a different configuration but I really dont think so. infinityhost.com opens the phpmyadmin in a browser window without the url address, but that is not a problem, as you can copy the link with the right mouse button ;)

use this url to connect directly to your phpmyadmin if you use x3 skin

    yourdomain.com:2083/frontend/x3/sql/PhpMyAdmin.html

With cPanel =<9, you still needed to input your cPanel login details to get there. I'm not sure how it is in the new versions.

Your best bet is to just upload phpMyAdmin yourself.

You dont need CPANEL to directly connect to MySql database .... use the phpadmin URL to connect to MySQL database. Then it will ask you for your MySQL username and password.

I hope this will work for you
