Actually this is my 2nd post on this forum. I am coming here with doubts relating payment processing because i have seen that people on this forum really help alot. Thank You very much.

I have one account in Paypal (Verified, Premium Account). Now paypal is charging some $8.XX something for each payment i receive and there is also some other charges which paypal charge for transactions.

I have also used western union but they too charge lots of money.

Please can anyone tell me how do i reduce the cost of get payment in my account in Paypal. Actually i really like paypal and their customer service department is also good. Its easy for me to transfer the money from Paypal to my bank account.

Please help me... Thanks in advance

You can ask your clients to send money as gift to you. In this way PayPal charges are less as comparative to normal transactions.

    Thanks

Yup you can ask the sender to send it as a personal payment , i guess then the max fee then is 1%.

Or you can ask them to send payment at one time.
Like if you are doing 5 things for them then tell them to send payment at once to reduce fee otherwise if they send it 5 times you will pay more fee.

You can't do this all the time if you provide any kind of service or etc. otherwise if they come to know then you'll in trouble (limited access).

There's a few factors that could be coming into play here. The first is Paypal's normal processing fees. These vary based on the country you are in, and the country you are receiving payment from. Paypal also has currency exchange fees, so if your customer pays in USD and your bank account is in GBP, you pay an exchange rate in addition to the processing fees.

As stated above, asking buyers to send as a gift is a good way to get your account limited and/or permanently banned.

Can you explain a little about the transaction you normally take (amount, from country, etc.) and what country you are located in? There may be ways to lower the fees, but if you're dealing with cross-border fees, it can be very difficult to find savings or find any legal method of reducing the cost.
