how can I redirect directory to subdomain and keep my SERP

    Hi,
    I wanna redirect mysite.com/blog to blog.mysite.com and keep my pages SERP.
    I saw many sites did this and their SERP.not affected.
    So how can I?

    you can do seo of your website which consist On Page and Off Page optimization. On Page is incurring keywords relevant to your website to all web pages after that
    you can proceed to off page which includes article submission, directory submission, press release and blog commenting and forum posting which helps in promoting website
    and improves ranking thereafter.

    You can redirect301 on Google webmaster and then make changes on server and by doing this your SERPs will remain same.

    the htaccess file is a root file placed on your server.....or you can use a meta tag redirect

    but the REAL question is why do you want to move it?

    You will lose all those indexed pages on the main site and SERPS could drop

    yes you may certainly do the same as 301 redirect is good from SEO point of view without affecting your SEPR's

    it's a blog and causing high load so I wanna move it to another hosting as a subdomain and do the redirection, but the problem that my blog is a directory mysite.com/blog
    I appreciate if you guide to article or tutorial on how to do 301 redirect.
