how can i rank higher / better ?

Hi, im the co-owner of easyforumz.com and i need some help,
My site hosts free forums, but im only getting around 1 hit a month from search engines.
Im currently on the 4th page for the search "easy forum hosting" - but get little hits from it, and i have no idea what im ranked for my main keyword "free forum hosting".
"im peridcted a PR4 for this update (if its ever going to happen), any ideas how i can rank higher / better so i can get a small flow of traffic?

First of all more and more traffic can rank higher but its possible if you put some efforts like SEO, Backlinks, etc

I have SEO keywords and descriptions, and have fitted the first page content into the keywords.

Make sure to make your keywords a link as well.

 

No wonder you are getting just a little of traffic for the keyword easy forum hosting, that keyword performs roughly 10-50 queries a month.

You might want to reconsider your targeting keywords, here are some few good keywords you can target for your forum

- free web hosting
- free domain hosting

Get an account at wordtracker and you can see how competitive the keyword search terms are. Go for some that are less used but will still drive traffic. When you build up backlinks and PR etc.. you can compete for some of the better higher yielding terms.

i have suggest to u first u can uploaded ur sites in google analytics code and statcounter.com sites code then it can see ur sites daily traffic as well as seen total clicks,pageviews etc....

 

maybe you can write more contents that are related your site.

 

You can also try to promote it via social book markings and continue building links.

 

Try to get more link for you site with different important keywords as you anchor text then you will be in your track

1st: apply a little SEO (that not means only to full your META`s with keys)
2nd: target your BL for the key`s "easy forum hosting", not your site name
3rd: backlinks and backlinks and backlinks !
