How can I rank high without content on the site

Hello,how can I rank a website high without the content on the site..With just products on the site ???

 

make high pr relevant for the site, might be you achieve you aim

 

you will probably have to work alot on offpage optimization. you could also use some alt tags descriptions if you have images for your products.

 

i think best way is using Article submission it's give you best traffic as well back links!!!

 

I think without a content its some what hard to boost the PR

 

You should use title and alt text for images in your site. And also have an articles/blog section to have some content.

Otherwise you are limited to off page SEO and viral methods to get backlinks.

 

Actually, what do you mean "without" the content ?
You should have a description for your products anyway, and the pictures, and this is content

It will be hard to get any traffic from the search engines even if you can reach PR8. content and anchor text are the only way Search engines can determine when to show your pages on the results page, the PR determin the order of your indexing.

you can upload a blog (from word press) and start writing posts (reviews and news about your products and link to your products page from the posts.
choose carefully your Title tags and anchor texts

yes.. best way is backlinks.. you can either buy backlinks or built your own such as making blog comments. but you should have some kind of content.. a blank web page won't work!

WHY would ANYONE want to visit a page WITHOUT content?

And WHY would ANY search engine want to index ANY page that NO ONE wants to visit?

 

A lot of capitals in that one. How much content does google.com's first page have? Do you know how many people visit that page everyday?

OP has 'products' on the site, probably just a list of products with images and discount information like many shopping sites.

 

Build links. try to get as many links from high PR sites as possible, including paid directories that are specific to your niche. Yahoo Dir is a good back-link for almost any site. Business.com as well. But those are some pricey Dir's. Get your site out to as many places as possible including social media sites.

 

The other posters have summed it up. Without content, you need backlinks - zillions of them.

And even then, if it's a competitive term you're chasing, you'll find it hard to rank without some unique stuff on there.

 

If your site is one of the millions of product sites all using the same database for image, description etc then you have to change these and make them unique

 

hi one more thing if you aren't going to have any additional content its going to make ranking well harder... I'd suggest adding an article section about the topic. Maybe a buying guide, etc.
Other than that you'll just have to get tons of back links to overcome your lack of content.
You need to get high PR, "Dofollow" relevant back links.
