    Yahoo gives a little less weight to Inbound links than Google does. On page optimization is crucial. I think Yahoo uses meta tags more than Google does aswell. Keyword in URL is great for rankling on Yahoo too.

    prepare the good internal linking structure with using targeted Keyword Phrase And do the On page optimization only then you can get good results to Yahoo.

    And for Google unique content and thematic back links using targeted keyword phrase as anchor text is most important................

    i really dont understand, both my websites rank on first page on yahoo and msn for a lot of keywords! But there is no way that i can rank high on google....i dunno! And i keep building backlinks.

    Hmm, the best way is to probably submit your site map and everything, and make sure you have a good amount of content (200-300 words per page). It may seem like a lot, but the more content and pages the better. As long as it's useful stuff!
