    under each post ? besides making your forum members angry , it will probably also make your forum slow as well , if it pulls up so many external ad blocks on every page .

    I agree...

    You'd likely make more money by just asking your members to log out, as the key to monetizing a forum is to be unobtrusive. The more in-your-face you get, the more the memberbase will revolt. I'm willing to bet there are other forums in your niche, and I bet if you cram each thread with ads your members (and guests) will hunt those other sites down and use them.

    I sure as hell would.
