How can i Push a 1st page listing on google to the 2nd page ?

Thanks for your comments. Let me clear a couple of points here :

1) I am a SEO Specialist being handed over the job of pushing the bad publicity web pages to the2nd page in google for the search term ' Ds Max'.

I have no more control than simple SEO technique applications.

Lot of people have suggested me to make changes in some pages - If i had the control of the bad publicity pages, would i require this thread ???

I am looking at pure SEO suggestions or suggestions which are manageable outside these sites.

If you are only using SEO techniques, the only thing is to promote pages that are "friendly" and out rank the "offending pages" until they are off the first page of SERPS. Mainly it looks like you are going to need tons of links pointing to the pages you do want in the SERPS.

Gonna be a tough challenge too since many of the offending pages have good PR. GL

if you want to come down for that keywrod just try some javascript redirect and take your visitors to the other page.

this way you will retain your tarffic. And when google will see that you have a redirect from the page it will simply trasnfer your current pages PR to the other to which you want to come up.

I would strongly suggest that you don't even bother trying. I have worked within the DS-max cult...sorry, organization. There are literally thousands of Ex-DS Max employees out there that will continue to go to these sites keeping them nice and popular. Having worked there I can certainly understand why you would want those pages pushed back. Juice by you.

I'll give you a hint on how to do this. Go to google and search "boothe lasik". This person, who shall remain nameless wanted to remove a damaging article from the #2 spot. No damaging article anywhere to be seen. See how they did it?
