How can I protect myself when buying an expensive domain

    Hey Guys, girls, and cats,

I am in the process buying an expensive (to me) domain name and am curious as to what I should do to ensure I do not get ripped off.

I am purchasing in through escrow.com but are there any scams I need to be aware of?

    Thanks.

May be, you can check the whois info and send an email to make sure that you are buying the domain from the owner.

before having the funds released, dont only look at the whois info but make sure it is in your own account at the registrar!

Use Escrow only! Don't go for anything else, not even PayPal.
