How can i promote my template selling site ?

I need some tips for promote my template selling site.

I am only designer. I dont have knowledge about marketing.
Please tell me some cheaper way or free way.

You can try by offering them a couple of free templates that your visitors can use but by maintaining the copyright link in the templates to your website.

This way, you'll gain recognition and backlinks as well when they decide to give those free templates a go.

I think you should first completed your webiste (no under construction) link
before you promote. To me it is really unprofessional.

If I look for web or graphics designer, I will look for a website
that is at least completed.

If you are ready to offer your template for free then you should be ready with your own site and also your free giving templates. If you are ready then go to social community site and start promoting with the word free I am sure you could get a lot of visits ans also many people would download unless your templates are good and attractive.

 

submitting a press release to Google News is always a good one

 

Write a tutorial for a photoshop effect or something and submit to one of the many sites that accepts them with a link back to your site.

I guess you should promote your ad in forums and you can even use adwords..

 

There is plenty of information on SEO in this forum it is time for you to begin learning about it and applying it to whatever site you choose to market. You need great keywords, articles, press releases and blogging which will backlink all your marketing together

 

1)paying somebody who DOES understand about marketing
2)learning for yourself for free using the internet (takes a lot of time)
