How can I promote my site?

Have you tried promoting on twitter? That would be a great beginning

 

I would propose to creat a video for your site and post it in video sharing websites.

 

I think a good idea might be making a preview of the best movies on your site in one single movie and posting it on all video hosting websites. Make sure you include your website URL there.

Thanks for all of your advised I have been getting quite a fair bit of visitors visiting my site lately. However most of those visitors comes from the USA, Canada and UK...

My other question would be how can I promote my site to the eastern part like asia and australia?

 

There are many ways to promote your website.

- Article Marketing - Submit to Ezinearticles 1st.... then submit to any other directories after articles are accepted.

- Video marketing - create videos tutorials, tips or whatever you want your videos to be about. I use a video submission service to submit my videos all over the place.

- Podcast - take your articles and read them. Record what you read and submit them to podcast sites.

- The same goes with Newsletters & Press Releases

Continue to do this over, over, & over again... set yourself for for continues amount of traffic. Don't get discouraged if the traffic isn't great at first it takes time. (i.e.. if you plant seeds today the flowers wont bloom tomorrow)

If you submit you video in youtube,matcafe,etc. Then you get few trafic.

You nee SEO.

My charge is only $100 for SEO. And you get lots of trafick. Your site need backlinks,google PR.

 

That's easy to do, you can even to text video in powerpoint.
