I tried myspace but everytime I used my site it said it was spam so I didn't even try facebook. I know it's about building relationships and not straight out self promote but how can you do it when you can't even post your link? Thanks Ruben
Well, don't just start to promot your blog here. Social networks promotion needs to be done in a proper way. First make your profile and get some friends or make your community. Be active there and slowly start promoting your things there.
I don’t understand your first sentence, If I understand correctly you're telling me not to start promoting my blog here. I don't know where that comes from since my question is about social networks not my blog. I understand it has to be done the proper way, and in fact I already have a myspace profile with more than a hundred friends but I will never straight out tell them to visit my blog. What I want to do is start a blog there and if they like what they read, they may go to my site but whenever I try to post the link, it gets redirected as spam. Thanks Ruben
You can export your RSS feed to facebook profile by using simple techniques, I could remember a facebook application called "My Box", If you have time, please check the problogger profile. he is using facebook in proper way promote his blogs. Good luck!
