How can I promote My Arcade website ?

Im searching for ways to generate traffic for my arcade http://acgamers.com.

I need advice!

 

I got 2 advice:

1. Create a blog and promote engage in social bookmarking sites
2. Join entrecard (delivers 100+ visits each day)
3. Concentrate on getting backlinks on targeted keywords especially dofollow links and monitor your website ranking in google results. The higher it gets, the better your targeted traffic.

Im thinking of making a blog but im french and I do alot of errors in spelling

 

You are in an excellent position since you are hosting games. Let other webmasters use the games for free if they include a link back to your site. Create a page or possibly create a link next to each game: "add this game to my website". This follows Google's guidelines to a T and can create an excellent source of links/traffic.

On a side note: do you develop games? I am looking for someone to create a simple flash game for a site of mine. Please pm me if you do. Also if you found this post of value, please add to my repudiation. I am attempting to make a name for myself in the community .

 

You can do both On-Page and Off-Page Optimization..

1. On-Page Optimization - proper use of description, title tags, h1/h2 tags, keywords, and meta tags.
2. Off-Page Optimization - building links - social bookmarking, article & directory submissions, forum posting, blog commenting, classified ads, press releases, and link exchange..

You can try Adsvisual or ity.im to promote your arcade game

 

I Think you need some keywords research and tag your keywords with alt tags of every image on your pages. it's my opinion if you run flash based website.

 

Try find a few long tailed keywords and create a squidoo lens or a blog and just redirect it to your site or write an keyword rich article and post on the blog. Allow others to embed your games in there site.

 

If you need a promoter then knock me once. If you do it yourself then just submit your site on different social networking site first then post on forums with signature.

 

Make a traffic trading arcade using a script like arcadetradescript. Its expensive but worth the price.

Build a facebook app perhaps? Buy some cheap ad space on some kids forums, try press releases.

 

Try article marketing, if you can't write well then outsource the writing. Keep in mind that you really need to invest!

 

you should use seo or make links and posted to well known forums

 

1 - content is king! (always!)

2 - nice design with easy layout (works with most systems, spider friendly etc)

3 - SEO and traffic building (backlinks, advertising etc)

 

Also find alot of gamer forums and post with the url in your signature.
