How can I promote elite-students.com

Hi there,
I'm relatively new to emarketing and have tried adwords and couple of other ppc services with almost zero success...what do you think would be the best way to promote our site elite-students.com ?

first optimize your site because I have no clue where the site is about when i land on the frontpage. People have to see in 1 blink what the site is about and what they can find there.

After you optimized you have to do some seo, add you site to directories, article submission sites and add to socialbookmark sites and generate backlinks. and last step in my opinion would be campaign with adsense

I think you can promote with blogwalking

 

allso add some content because when i go to photo's video's forum etc everthing is empty just get some friends to help you adding some content.

 

I thought your site is something related to education when i land on the frontpage. No offense taken please. You should pick another keyword riched domain if you would like to have a dating portal. Additional, do more work ( http://elite-students.com/about_us.php, at least edit this ) before you proceed further with marketing campaign.

Tip:
1. Offline promotion is a good start for dating site or anything related to education.
2. Why not start your marketing campaign on local university?

 

check the bst boards, you can try to buy signatures or links on other sites.

 

You need some drastic on site SEO. You aren't utilizing the title tags like you should. You have dang near 700 keywords in the keyword meta tags (google pretty much ignores these but meta search engines don't like more than 15). The sites a bit confusing when you land too much going on without a clear message. I would utilize that rotating image area to put some text in to explain it quickly.

I'm not surprised you aren't getting adword response if you can get people to the site is one thing but they probably click away before figuring it out. Just my 2 cents.

 

thanks a lot for all the help, well this shouldn't be a dating site...actually it is meant to be educational, guess after finishing my current paper I'll spend some time on the site and realize your suggestions, guess I'll do some offline promotion at my own university, too...

I would recommend using Facebook to target students. Do a search on this forum for tips and tricks on marketing on Facebook.
