    Hello experts,

My friend purchased a domain from godaddy. Now she want to pay full amount of 10 years, please let me know that godaddy getting advance 10 years payments ?

And also know that is this fine for us ? because some of my friend told me that its better if you pay every year.

Your quickest reply must be appreciated

No, it's not good. Do not go all in. Not advisable. Pay for the first year only for you can invest the rest of the money back to your business.

Paying registration for 10 years is hardly going to make a dent in your budget if you are running an actual business with rent, staff and marketing budgets.

I'd want to see a better reason for not paying than just saving a few bucks.

If I'm going to do business with a company and I see they've registered their domain for a long time then I know the owner believes in the business and is in for the long haul. No point getting that extended warranty on the new whiteware if the company isn't going to be around next year.

There is no reason to register a domain up-front fort 10 years. Years ago Google would provide somewhat of a SERP boost if you had registered your domain for more than a year, but that is not the case anymore.
Just register for 1 year, then when it comes time to renew, look for a promo code somewhere and save money that way.

I don't think Google took back this criteria. However if someone has a legit business and few bucks to support it, i would say that it's a positive expense. Many people whois websites that they don't know to see owner's info and other data. For me a 10 years site works like a "BBB seal". I renewed a valuable domain for 10 years but not at GoDaddy

^This! You don't always have to measure advantage in numbers, money or ROI. Your domain is your brand. If you are a serious businessman you have to trust your brand. So if you do have the financial backup why not do it? This can only bring you extra credibility and relief your potential customers from the fear of your company being a one-night stand ;)

Aaaah, no, they're going to advise you to spend now. Even though I think that's right our motivations for giving that advise differ.
It's not like it's a big deal, less than a tank of gas and it's not like you hesitate before filling up, is it?
