I have a site that has clipart for download for free (we will never charge) which is generating about 10k visitors per month. Other than advertising ( i use adsense and not earning that much), are there other ways that people have had success in monetising such sites?
Services... Perhaps custom graphic design or modifications to the clipart they find... Think of reasons why someone would visit your web site... Why would they need clip art?
Do the stock photo and/or video sites (e.g., shutterstock) have affiliate programs? If so, you could draw in traffic that is looking for free images and some of it might be a good prospect for commercial images, as well.
That would work really well. There's been a few times I've looked for an image and there's a panel of other similar images but they're shutterstock links.
1. Affiliate Marketing (.. and affiliate links) “Pay Per Click” advertising (Google Adsense) Sell ad space Sell your own digital product (Ebook or something) Accept donations from visitors Give away premium content for extra $$$
I agree with you, and you may try affiliate marketing, it works really well with my career as a digital marketing manager.
Experiment with affiliate marketing. ... Create and sell a product (digital or physical) ... Start a paid membership website. ... Monetize access to your email list. ... Publish sponsored posts and product reviews. ... Gate some of your content. ... Accept donations. ... Monetize your expertise.
