Twitter is more and more popular this time in internet, but I don't know how can I marketing in it. Everybody who can help me, give me some advice.
If own sites you can use twitter to post you’re articles on it; you can also follow tweets to get a possible visitor. Since it was one of the best social networking sites it is good to advertise your business here.
A simple Twitter buffer which allows you to produce tweets as well as arrange for them to be posted at a particular time. Other uses of this service include pre-planned announcements, reminders for appointments and notification of upcoming events.
You do not need to post the whole article there, just leave the "hook" on twiter and the link to the article text on your site. And use hash tags.
Not at first you cant. But if you have hundreds or even thousands of followers, Twitter can be an excellent resource for marketing.
I would check out this tool just posted to the Facebook DP forum. It lets you use Twitter to REtweet to Facebook. Facebook is where actual people are so this is very useful. http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=2368678
Twitter is great if you make a combination between sm, use it as a tool. Great combination i use (Twitter, facebook, linkedin, youtube, slideshare) Make a good marketingplan and you see, for me it works great!
A good 140 words tweet can get you more business, write some attractive stuff and you would get followers.
IF you have more than 500 followers, you can join the Twitter Retweet Group. Members will retweet your your tweet for you as long as you retweet theirs too. This is very powerful because retweets have the potential to go vrial. This depends, of course, on the quality of your tweet, but having a big network retweeting for you is like having a tweet on warp speed. Find us on Twitter at #TwitterRetweetGroup
I have a related question. What kind of tweets are effective for marketing? Should I be just tweeting offers or should I try to post casual tweets with links to my articles?
I would say tweet with content always. Tweets without semantic connections pollutes Twitter IMO. Plus content and links drive traffic to your message, not words. :0
Thanks, I appreciate the feedback. I guess it does make more sense, I have noticed a lot of SPAMMY tweets on twitter just get auto ignored anyway.
My advice to Twitter marketing is personality, persistence, and patience. Personality - Be personable. Social media users like to be engaged in warmth and humour. Don't forget to be friendly and polite to any social interactions. Persistence - Tweet frequently. Make your presence known on a regular basis. Patience - You might not see a lot of results at first, but don't give up! It takes a while for your account to gain momentum and a serious following.
From my point of view you have to make more follower and make post related to your business on your wall.
Don't market in Twitter. Unless you have followers that are loyal you won't gain anything from it. I've sent out hundreds of tweets and had no conversions at all.
Marketing through twitter is the other way to promote your site. Most of people today make their business online like what I have I used to market my website couponblazer dot com using social media networking by sharing the site.
