How can I make this logo better?

    I actually like the simple type on the pages right now. More functional but still looks fairly stylish.

    I'd have to agree. I think the overall idea is pretty good, but the lower text is a bit much. I'd shrink it down to around half that size if it were me.

    Why don't you give it an Actual Logo Shape? Had it been for a brochure or Some other Piece of Writing it would have looked good. But If its for a Website, I suggest a Logo Design similar to what you see for Football Clubs, Round and all.
