Hi DP users, I created my first blog about 11 days ago called www.lazywebprofits.com but I just don't feel that my blog is monetized to it's best. I have google adsense and some clickbank products. My blog mainly focuses on blogging, seo, and web traffic tips. Any suggestions on what I should do to help my blog reach it's potential? Is my design ok and does my blog look professional enough that others will subscribe? So far I'm doing great as it has been indexed in search engines and my blog counter is picking up traffic from various forums and social bookmarking sites but hardly anyone is subscribing. Thanks guys
It reads like it's been written in a foreign language then put through babelfish. It's full of bad grammar and phrases that are just wrong and don't make sense; e.g "Perform reason on your competitiors" "possibly garner more eyeballs"

He is quoting a sentence from your blog. I think it would help if you learned better English to improve the quality of your blog posts. It would also be a good idea to choose a niche that you are interested/know stuff about because if you are asking how to make money off your site, isn't that exactly what you should be showing people how to do on your blog?
Have to agree with that last post. Why in earth you build a blog about this if you don't know it your self either? But that gramar thing is BS. It helps if you know english even little better, but I suck in grammar...and doing alright with my blog. Practise makes the master.
Write unique content , submit you blog feeds and submit them to all rss directories . When ever you publish one article do marketing work for next two days like promote it on forum social networks like digg , reddit , stumble and others . By this they will get good traffic as well as ranking power too . If someone like your article and like it than you can get backlinks also .
Upon reading lazywebprofits' blog I think he knows what's best for his blog. In the first place it's a SEO blog. What he needs is only a proofreader to check his mistakes and English grammar.
I agree that the grammar and spelling need to be polished a bit. Be patient. It takes time to build a loyal readership. Just keep providing quality content and follow atulperx advice about submitting your blog and feed to various directories.
Yeah.. it feels very strange. I'm not a specialist in english grammar also. I'm brazillian, so my language is portuguese. I don't have that much money for a proofreader yet.. but going to start looking for people that want to help me on my blog anyway. I think your blog design is very simple. But not unprofessional, what is cool.
Like the blog design as its simple and clean. I would submit your posts to social bookmarking sites. Try www.socialmarker.com to do it nice and quickly. That should help build traffic slowly. You might want to build a few squidoo lenses that point to your site. Hope that helps Chris
