Have a look at it, and let me know how you think I can earn more money. I do some occasional affiliate programs, and I have a couple local companies that advertise in posts and with banners. Adsense revenue is minimal, but I think with more saturation/rankings under "miami real estate" that could change.

    Anyone have any ideas?

I do update content daily....even most weekends....I a few writers who do this non-stop.

The only way you can earn more is sell some link to other same niche site.Other than that, you should try to paid posting about reviewing some company product.

I think that you should develop the website in the following directions:
    - events: what's happening locally, reviews from events, how to get there, etc; you can also give visitors the options to form micro - communities around each event
    - neighborhoods: write about the people, the small communities in the city, involve them
    - local classifieds
    - local business directory
    - state information: info about the relation with the state (how to do's)

I think that would be a start and you can go from there.
For what I’ve suggested I'm sure you can find some free scripts too.

Later edit: after you implement what I've suggested you can make money from promoted listings; the state information section is only for traffic.

    Regards,
