    Well in my personal experience, it is easy to say that for link building do this, so that but what is easy and really works is

    Directory submission (people do say that they dont think these are effective now, BUT i believe and have noticed that sooner or latter these dir submissions do help)
    Blog commenting - very recently I say mat cutts video, where he said, no follow links from good PR pages is also helpful
