I suppose it's POSSIBLE to make that much per day but you have to be pretty damn lucky. But it does seem like people want HUGE returns without actually putting in any effort, which is what's so ridiculous.

But you want to be reasonable, otherwise you'll just end up disappointed and depressed.

Well I think that it's possible, of course, with a lot of work with an actual idea or with a new and fantastic idea, the thing is that nobody will tell you "how to make $150k a day" in a forum :D

$150k per day is doable, but it'll cost you $300,000 in advertising ;)

Seriously though, if you have a large marketing budget you could reach that pretty easily.

I think it'd be fun to have a first to $100,000 challenge. :)

The problem with a challenge like that is that somebody with a buttload of money will enter and win it in the first day. I could spend $25,000 on advertising and hit that in less than 48 hours.

You'd need to limit the challenge more.

Why $150,000, not $1,000,000 per day?

Well I mean, starting at 0 from the day you sign up.

How can you limit that sort of challenge? =)

It is very possible to make $150,000 every single day. Oh and just to paint a more vivid picture here... that is $54,750,000 per year. Is it easy? In a word... NO.

Basically if you were to work 16 hour days, 7 days a week, it is very possible. The problem with making that much money, is it wouldn't be any fun. It would take a tremendous amount of work.

Basically you would need to create multiple streams of income to hit that $150,000 per day mark. However, in order to that, you will have to hire a lot of people to make that happen. Then you will be spending a lot of time managing, and hiring and firing, etc. It would be a business.

You don't get $55 Million per year for free. You have to work your "bleep" off for it.

On the other hand, if you got lucky and won the lottery, or came up with some ground breaking industry shattering idea and developed it into a solid business plan with appropriate funding and marketing, you could easily hit that number and it wouldn't be as much work as the example above.

But let's face it... that ain't going to happen. I'd be perfectly content with just making $1,000,000 per year. Life is just too "bleepin" short to waste away trying to make $55 Million per year.

Work hard, become moderately wealthy, and then go out and enjoy life. Because what are you really going to do with the first $60 million? what about the next $60 million? and the next? and the next? and the next?

No more "and the next". :p

Make it limited to a specific affiliate program. You could easily find companies willing to step forward for that (afterall they'd make millions out of it lol). And I bet some of them would be willing to contribute some sort of grand prize (i.e. an all-inclusive vacation to some luxury hotspot, etc). Since they're be making millions in sales, spending a few bucks of that one some prizes shouldn't be a problem for them.

That way, all the folks that are dumping money in PPC will end up fighting over very limited ad space, and the folks doing SEO would be fighting over a few keywords, etc.

It levels the playing field that way and makes it more of a challenge :) And if it's done through an affiliate network like shareasale it would be easier to judge the winners as SaS could announce the winner :)

Lots of potential here, you should try to make it happen :D

Everybody wins in this scenario, and I bet you could generate massive interest from affiliates and businesses.

While my company does ok, it has not hit $150,000 per day yet. I guess the logistics of delivering that much product or service per day would be daunting. May be a good problem to have.
