i'm doing a tutorial site.. all i want is to add a link section on the sidebar called 'tutorial categories' and have the links under that. then i need to be able to make posts and tag then as one of those tutorials categories. why am i having such a hard time doing this? or is it wordpress lol? thanks fellas edit: i do not want to do this through 'blogroll' because obviously it's not meant for this and second when using the 'link' widget it groups EVERY blogroll category with it.
Go to wordpress admin ,manage>categories>tutorials. when making another cat and you want it to be like a child cat to tutorials you change the parent categorie from none to tutorials.
