How can i load a page content in Wp to my Homepage?

    How can i insert a page content to my Home Page in WP,
    this is the function: get_page ; but i dont know how can i use it, it does not work for me.
    Please help me.

    goto Dashbord > Settings > Readings
    and Select "a Static Page"
    and choose the page/post you want to display on homepage.
