    I simply use a chrome extension called Page Rank Status. It gives more than only page rank it also tells you the alexa, number of backlinks for alexa, google, bing and a lto of other search engines. Its a useful extension overall.

    Hey there, if you're using mozilla firefox or chrome, I suggest you install an extension called SEOquake. It doesn't only analyze your pr, but it also analyzes SEO capability, keyword density, and a lot more. And its free. check it out.

    I also tried Moonsearch and SEOquake. They are both completely free and offer a great amount of useful data, not simply PageRank. This way you don't need to download anything.
    Also you may search for other free tools. There are quite a lot of them.
