How can I know my competitors' traffic sources?

    Hello Guys,
I want to know my competitors' traffic sources. I mean exactly from where they are getting traffic. I know their are tools to check their backlinks. On the other hand, Alexa can show some sources.

Do you know any other good tools to find out their traffic sources?

Without hacking Google analytic account ,no one can said you about competitor traffics:D .Using alexa you can just imagine about their traffic but for exact info you should have analytic access.

You can't really know specific traffic sources for your website, but by using a website like ahrefs.com or moonsearch.com you can find out your competitors' backlinks. The most popular banklinks are probably going to be bringing your competitors the largest amounts of traffic.
That's pretty much the only thing you can do to find out what kind of traffic they're getting, and where from.

But its not necessary that popular backlinks are probably to be bringing traffic at large amounts...

True, but in a situation where you don't have access to any other type of information, this is the best you can hope for without actually going to your competitors and asking something along the lines of, "Hey, which sites provide you with the largest amount of inbound traffic? I'm asking for a friend." :D

Well, I don't think you can track down where your competitors are getting traffic from because you just don't have any access to their analytics but yes, what you can do is you can track your competitors what they are up to open the the Alexa and put the site of your competitor over there once done you can have a look onto is the upstream sites if you are lucky enough you will get result other than google.com or ..... You can use ahrefs to track what your competitors are up to but other than that ... you can't do anything about it !! Just keep your eyes over the competitors daily work i.e. the backlinks and posting habits over the social media and all. I am sure it's enough to help you in finding your way out....

Use ranksignals backlink checker. This tool show you both links no-follow or do-follow.

This is a kind of trade secret and no tool is going to find you the real traffic sources. In fact, you can guess by looking at their backlinks using some backlink checker tools.

Alexa is ok for ballpark figures and basic trends, but I wouldn't treat it as gospel.

None of the site is giving this information. By backlink watch and SEO profiler, you can get few of the sites your competitor link to.
