    Hi,

    Unfortunately, you probably have a very serious problem depending on the character of your "company friend". While I wouldn't say he was cheating you outright as some hosts charge more than others for differing amounts of service. I'm not going to get into the issue with overselling and who is a better host.

    I checked the whois information on both the domains and found that names on the registrations differ.
    http://whois.domaintools.com/seomanualsubmission.com
    http://whois.domaintools.com/directoryurlsubmission.com

    I am assuming that that is his name on the registration info for seomanualsubmission.com and your name on directoryurlsubmission.com. The problem is that although you may have paid him to register the domain on your behalf according to the register it is his domain name.

    The first thing you should to is get him to transfer the domain to a registrar of your choice under your name. If you do not think he will transfer it simply because you want control of it or without reason I would suggest you make up a pretext such as switching to a cheaper provider or consolidating your domains for easy management. This does not mean you need to discontinue hosting with him.

    I would also recommend backing up your current content if you do not have a recent backup before contacting him about making the change.

    I always recommend that you NEVER register your domain with your host if it has any value at all because most hosts will hold domains hostage if there is a dispute.

    Edit:

    I just realized you were more interested in knowing what he was paying for your account.

    $ dig +short seomanualsubmission.com
    205.234.161.2

    $ whois -H 205.234.161.2
    Server Central Network SCN-4 (NET-205-234-128-0-1)
    205.234.128.0 - 205.234.255.255
    HostForWeb Inc. HOSTFORWEB-28 (NET-205-234-161-0-1)
    205.234.161.0 - 205.234.161.255

    So it appears he is hosting through HostForWeb:

    http://www.hostforweb.com/packages/index.php

    This shows the costs for their plans.

    Note that you cannot contact HostForWeb for any support or complains against your friend as he is their customer and not you. The will not and (legally) can not take any action on your behalf unless your friend decided to steal the content. (You could use the DMCA to have the content taken down but the domain would still be his.)
