    Login your facebook account , search the community name which you want to join , open it and click on like tab

    Facebook itself is the community, you can send requests to other members and build your own community. You can become fans of pages, participate in events etc...

    If you want to join a Facebook page, simply click on the LIKE button. For FB groups, there's a Join button in order to be a member.
