Simple, but nice site enjoyed reading one a few profiles of the celebrities you had on your website. Its a very popular theme, getting traffic through isn't going to be a problem. But you need do some serious backlinking work. You should do as much posting on the comments section of blogs as much as possible. Type Google Blog Search into googles search engine and go through every blog come across. It's tedious work but you'll be pleasantly surprised with the results.

Other methods include social bookmarking sites (Digg, StumbleUpon..etc), article marketing and of course forums.

Also you should consider doing some search engine optimization, keyword research, filling in meta tags etc.... all tough work but could result in some quality traffic from search engines sometime in the future.

Try to join some celebrity related forums.

 

In my experience you just try to making and submitting your site's profile with your links in social media site and add friends as more as possible.It will be a greater opportunity for driving traffic to you.

As most of them here have already told you how important is link building for your site, I would recommend you to get atleast one backlink everyday for your site. Dont forget to bookmark your pages to highly ranked social bookmarking sites. Also if possible post some articles to the free press-release sites, I am sure you can get some traffic from there too.
