I would like to know how I can increase traffic to my www.ps2home.co.uk website? It needs to be gaming related traffic, please help!
There are many ways to increase traffic to your site. Getting Targeted traffic is the key however. You can spend some bux and set up some Pay Per Click Campaigns on MSN, Yahoo, and Of course Google. Try answering questions in an educated and non-selling Manner on Yahoo! Answers that are related to your site. Hop on over to MySpace Groups and find a group that is related to your site and post about it there. Create a Squidoo Lens and drive traffic to it - but you need to rank high in order to do that. (check out my signature on more info for ranking extremely high in Squidoo) Cashmonger
You've got nearly 500 posts, which means you have been here for awhile, which, in turn, means you know the answers to your question, including seeing the link to my page for advertising and marketing. Get out there and do them!
the best way (but one that might take a lot of effort) migh be to link bait.. come up with interesting top 10 lists and stuff that can get on n4g.com and digg and stuff maybe some adwords keywords relevant to your pages can be bought for 5c/click as well
you can start linking your website in the sig, and also start posting the link around the web and ask your users to do he same
Read the sticky first, there are some good tips. Social networking can be a quick traffic solution. Also classified ads can an option. You can advertise free on http://www.webcosmo.com
First let me just say that you have a very nice website. Because of the content I think Articles would be an excellent method for you when attempting to bring traffic back to your site, writing quality articles and submitting them to article directories might prove to be the best way of gaining traffic back to a site like your own. Another excellent thing is posting relevant topics on social networks (blogging and forums) and including your sites url in it. When posting to social networks you must be very careful about spamming and as such should focus on more on creating quality content so your submissions will not be deleted. Trust me they are a lot less likely to remove informative submissions than they are to remove straight out marketing attempts.
