How can I increase traffic on my site?

    I have recently started a site on Java which contains blogs, examples, java interview questions and forums. Getting 5-10 visitors per day.

    But at this point I am stuck here. What I can do to increase traffic?

    Do SEO for your website. You can also go with social networking sites & other promotion for getting instant traffic for your website

    Get some good one way links in to your site. Promote it on social networking sites, ensure your page content is unique, interesting and easy to navigate. Read up on META data and how to do it correctly.

    If you starting from scratch, you can't huge traffic from Search Engines. Go for SMO. Social bookmarking and social marketing if done perfect will help you out of the blue. Continue doing SEO, it will be much helpful for you in the long run.

    do off page activity for increasing traffic on your site, try social network submission for your site use facebook, twitter for sharing your sites and also you share your deep link in this way.

    You can build links through social bookmarking, social networking, blog commenting, forum posting and article submission and find the ones that are in your niche. If you do this regularly, you can drive traffic to your website through the links you added to each site. Also every site (especially blogs and forums) has rules to follow, just make sure you take time reading it before posting anything.

    Start doing both off-page and on-page seo ,but more precisely off-page will help to bring more and quick traffic.

    Analyze your keyword and find out the best long tail keyword with small competitions. That will make you in first page in google. Anda when you get first page, of courser your traffic will increasing rapidly.
