How can I increase the traffic on my website?

One thing that has worked well for me is publishing content consistently and distributing it across multiple platforms instead of relying on just one traffic source.
For my football content website, I share articles on Facebook, Pinterest, Mastodon, Blogger, and Medium. Each platform attracts a different audience, and together they help diversify traffic.
I also focus on improving internal linking, page speed, and publishing content around topics people are actively searching for.
I'm curious to know what strategies have worked best for others.
