    Do a network exchange (i.e. you follow one person and in return that person follows you). Never purchase 'likes, followers, etc.' Those are just decent to real looking people (fake profiles of course) that just like your page but do nothing on the promoting end.

    If you are bad in constant update your twitter, you can also use Hootsuite. Make 30 tweets at once and Hootsuite will post one each day. If perfect if you don't have time to tweet :)

    Having a lot of followers in Twitter means being able to reach to more people so it really helps to have a high number of followers. There are services and software you can use to get you to build a following in Twitter. The manual way is still best though.

    Once you gain a following, make sure to regularly update your Twitter account. Share new articles on your site, let followers know of a good sale in your niche, etc. Always aim to provide value and the users will come following you back to your site.
