page views and visitors are different. CTR will increase by new visitors and return visitor will down ctr, keep in mind. if you want to increase CTR then put one or two adsense on webpage and try to get new visitors everyday.

took the time to check his site?

Umer, your ads are not in a visible place. I have a really wide screen and still I have to scroll down to see your sidebar ad. This is one of he major reasons for such a low CTR. What I would suggest you is to put your ads higher in the sidebar (or perhaps a rectangle banner) before the articles. If you want people to click on the ads, then make sure they are able to see those ads without the need to scroll down.

    Hope this helps.

I also checked out your site, it is very interesting. You can literally spend hours on your site, just watching cool pictures wihout ever clicking on an ad, that actually pays you. Maybe that is the problem.

My suggestion, put an ad-unit in the header instead of linkunit, and as Trapped recommended move the sidebar to the top so it is viewable without scrolling.

Make your ads more interesting than your content :)

Usually people are noticing stuff from left to right and from up to down...
So try to place your adsence in those places.
Adsence on the right sidebar is not very recommendable.

    hi there

Right placing of ads is the first important thing to increase CTR. So, don't place your ads as they say 'we are ads don't click on me!'.

Threat them as they are a part/content of your website. So in this way they will be seen by visitors..

If i had your website, first of all i'll be changing the template.
Second, why dont you put a 336 adsense image ad or maybe text near your posts title ... Make an ad look like a news ;)
    Get it ?

I have tried a number of things to raise my CTR and nothing seems too noticeable. Right now I’m using the “Adsense Injector” which randomizing the location of the ad within the post. I really like how it works and, I think, helps to avoid ad blindness.

I’ll see if I can take advantage of some of your tips as well. Thanks.

I prefer to click your "Click here for more.." banner than your ads.
Simplify your website, don't put so much pictures.

my suggestion is put the banner at the top of the main contents to increase visibility that would lead to CTR.
