How can I increase my clicks?

I've tried searching around, but I can't figure out a good way to increase my total clicks.

I've created a campaign that has a profitable conversion rate, but I simply can't drive traffic. The campaign has hundreds of keywords, dozens of ads yet it only gets around $20-$40 worth of traffic per day. I would be happy to spend $5,000/day but its just not happening.

I hired a "Google AdWords specialist" to create a new campaign. He did research and send me a decent campaign (from what I could tell). His campaign gets even less traffic.

My campaign might not be the most professional, but I thought a certified AdWords specialist would at least be able to get some traffic to my site.

    What could be wrong?

(p.s. my niche is info products/seminars for doctors & physical therapists)

You need to just keep working on different methods to increase traffic to your site. It will build up slowly, but surely if you use a variety of techniques.

Set up a mailing list, create valuable unique content, post on forums with useful information aimed at your target audience, start a blog, get reciprocal links and so on.

If you are willing to take the risk (which it seems you are) then set your budget 200 - 300% higher than it currently is. Google sets a threshold which avoids it's clients budget exceeding the set amount for that day (although it does exceed it from time to time). By increasing your budget Google will see that there is no risk in showing your ads 24/7 and will therefore result in you getting more clicks.

The reason the specialist got less clicks was either due to them taken part of your budget behind doors or it can take up to 5 days for big changes to be taken into the Adwords system.

It could be more to do with your individual keyword bids - if they are low, or your Quality Scores are low, your ads may not be shown as much as they could be. This could be why you aren't getting as many clicks as you could.

Produce a Campaign report and check the Impressions Share (for Rank & Budget)

If the IS(Rank) % is below 80%, then consider raising your keyword bids.
If the IS(Budget) % is below 80% then it is your budget that needs upping.

If no problem with either, it has to be that your Ads aren't inviting enough to searchers or the keywords aren't searched enough to get the amount of clicks you are after.
