About 3 or so months ago, I posted this thread. I took some of the advice given to me, and some of it is in affect. Just today I implemented social networking sharing (don't ask me why it took so long). Since the launch of Origamiscene.com, my site has earned 7,000+ unique visitors and 30,000+ pageviews. I have not once tried linkbuilding. I'm posting this today to get the opinion of people who have more experience than me. My questions: What else can I do to my site to improve it's popularity? Any tips for link building?
There are two types of link building, white hat and black hat.... Just go for white hat link building to increase your site’s visibility. Do not rush thing, go for less but quality link building.
Write article on your niche business and do it by yourself and then share it to high article websites.
To increase popularity, what is important is to have original quality content and a good looking site that does not annoy the user. Also keep the ammount of ads on you're site under control. You should start with White Hat link building too. I usually start with asking my fellow webmasters to add my link on theyr site. link exchanging is always smart. other then that, make sure you're site is best SEO optimized. I wish you good luck
