I believe one way to improve your writing speed is to practice your reading skills as well. One who knows how to read and one who reads a lot shall be able to increase his/her writing skills in no time. If you are going to ask expert writers, you will know certainly from them that the other key to write better and faster is to become a wide reader. Hence when you want to write now, for you to have a smooth flow in writing first do this. (this is my personal style) 1st - Choose/Decide for your topic 2nd - Do a draft for your article with an outline of your important keywords found in the article example introduction: Pencil Affordable, can be used both for writing & drawing body: it's better to use than pen or etc. closing: pencil is not just affordable. it's can also be used in both writing and drawing. it's better than pen. 3rd - after you have made your draft, WRITE YOUR ARTICLE. start writing your introduction, body par and closing paragraph if ideas pop in your mind, write them down. DO NOT STOP writing your ideas. do not even try to go back to read the first part of the paragraph to check if your new ideas fit since you can do that later. rather continue writing until you reach the closing paragraph. 4th - read your written output. check the flow of ideas and check if there are some points which you have included that are not necessary. if not useful, omit them. 5th - Copyread your article. check the Subject and verb agreement. check the words used if its appropriate. 6th - read your article again. I believe this is still better than writing without a draft and copywriting your article from time to time while you are still in the middle of writing your article. *by the way if the topic of the article you are going to write is not familiar to you, do some research first. read 3 or more articles about it so you can have a good grasp of what it is all about. then start with STEP 1. Hope my post helps
#1 Try using fewer words to make your point. #2 Go to websites that provide free typing tests. #3 Race against a timer, chart your progress. #4 Have someone dictate to you and try to keep up. #5 Practice, practice, practice, and when you're fed up with all that practicing....practice yet again.
