This is something that has really been depressing for me. Though i'm good at making good articles some time sentence structure is flawed.
Write and have others critique your work. Read books from different authors. Pay attention to how words are used and sentences are structured.
Just practice and practice, write constantly. And like the above said, have people give you helpful pointers.
You could outsource your articles for editing for a little while. You obviously know what you want to say, so don't need the whole article written for you. After a few times, it will give you an idea of your particular sentence structure style.
You can try www.grammarly.com/Sentence_Checker or read Strank and White's "The Elements of Style". Another book you could read is "How to Write Your First Novel".
I highly recommend reading English language books in the subjects that you write about. Not only will you learn something as you read but you will also start to subconsciously pick up a better sentence structure. If you can afford to hire an editor to have a look at your articles this is another good idea - this way you can ask them to mark what they changed and you may be able to work out where your sentence structure lacks and begin to improve on it. It will definitely be worth it in the long run
I assume English is not your native language. I remember learning Japanese. At some point I started thinking in Japanese and would have to stop and mentally translate back to English. Like the earlier posters said, it is just a matter of practice to train your mind to translate your mental concepts into the language constructs. It helps if you can be around a lot of English speakers on a daily basis. Watch movies in English with sub-titles in your native language on a dvd player and pause a lot to relate the two. Find a course that teaches you English as a second language. Practice, practice, practice...
Focus on what you want to portray to your audience. Are you selling a product? Creating a story? Paint a picture in the head of your readers and make sure it is an enjoyable read. Additionally, throw in different lengths of sentence structure throughout your article. Sentences can be short. Sentences can be a bit longer like this one. Adding variety like this will improve your sentence structure.
There are some good videos online under 'English as a Second Language'. Those may help you quite a bit.
You're another posting bot. You are a really simple one though. You don't even analyse the thread and try to respond appropriately - you just post a 'me too' precanned response.
Yesterday I had this loser who was using software that automatically copies and submits the last 5 words on peoples posts and submits them. He had the audacity to do this on one of my threads. (big mistake) I reported said loser and the post got deleted and the loser is no longer with us.(banned)
You've got to wonder, haven't you Diva.... this is a 'nofollow' forum, so why on earth they do this... Perhaps they try and sell the accounts on once they reach the signature limit or something.
Taking an additional English course will improve your sentence structure. If you cannot create sentences that are well structured, your articles would not be compelling enough to read.
Easy answer for this question. Go to homeschooling websites. Do a web search on your topic of learning better writing skills by free home schooling. There are lots of sites that offer lessons and instructions for free, from grade school to collage level. Just pick a level of study where you can do the work and work up through the grades.
Read High quality stuff and narrow down the sentence structures that you like. If possible, save them to refer frequently. This way you will develop directory of sentences technically as well as mentally. Would really help. I have experienced it.
