Oh right. That's why they serve billions of ads with this 'unnecessary' code added and why it tells you specifically to copy and paste the code as it is - Google is renowned for sloppy, inefficient coding practices.

If you've stripped that out of your code it's probably why you only earned $1 for 37 clicks.

 

Adsense Click Rate Is Depends on Your Website Content And Yours Visitors Country. So Adsense is Not Playing With you.

That's why they supply the code the way they do - because that's how they want it added to your site.

Lol, its still much better than other networks i tried so i cant even dream of shutting it down for me.

 

My Ad Sense revenue goes up and down like a jack rabbit. Then every once in a while I get a click that a sponsor pays me more than a couple of bucks for. My traffic is quite low but I'm lucky in the number of visitors clicking on the sponsors. The high and lows of online revenue generating................I like the high times better!

 

At first I was very enthusiastic with the idea of adsense, just put it on your site, sit back and let the money come in. I found much to my disappointment that the ROI was quite low and that it was not generating as much as I had hoped it would.

Still there as that slogan from Tesco's always says "every little helps".

I have learn't that ad sense is not the one stop shop for advertising and generating money online. It can give you a bit of revenue but overall I found selling advertising space and links from websites, developing banners, using article marketing and sponsoring websites to be a much more effective means of generating money online.

 

Maybe the famous 'he should have gone to specsavers' quote would be more appropriate in this case lol.
For the benefit of non-UK posters, Specsavers is a UK spectacles firm that creates really funny TV ads., they show someone doing something stupid because they can't see properly, ie. because they need specs.
The classic 'ad', a spoof ad, is a girl doing something that she shouldn't be doing with a gear knob, because she can't see properly ie. because she needs specs..

I have got a impression that Adsense lie about paying 68% revenue.
They dont even pay 6% to me lol.

I started of not very bad was getting about 0.05$ a click and now it seems to have gone down pretty low to 0.03$...

My Total:
156 Clicks and 8.77$ with about 9,500 impression.

Q. Should i remove adsense and what would be a good alternative.

Well maybe your ads are very low paying. I myself have received 1 cent for a click so I feel your pain.

 

Google is one of the largest and most reputable companies in the world. I highly doubt they are cheating you out of your money.

Also 156 Clicks with only 9500 impressions is actually decent!

How long have the ads been showing?
Do you have channels and channel-targeting enabled?

 

it days 12-14 since i started adsense and placed on my site.
I dont use channels coz it my might slow down ads as they have to load much more rubbish than usual.

 

yea it realy depedns on your niche. I have a site in the finance space that past $1-3 per click. I have anothe rone in the dating space that pays $0.05-0.15...

 

Is it common for things to move at the OPs pace?
