First you have get genuine traffick then you can only improve your ctr in your google adsense.

 

5% CTR is not low for a normal website. You can always use A/B testing to see what works best for your website.

 

I guess cricket is not a populair topic, so the CPC advertisers pay is low. This results in low earnings for each click. Try finding a higher paying niche (e.g. finance)

Here goes my tips:
1) Make your ad look like your internal links.
2) Text ad color should be optimized. You've to give 'light' colors for description as well as URL.
3) Make sure you use Arial Font with large size for maximum CTR.
4) Try to use text ads instead of image ads.

 

54 clicks for $4.16 is normal for low pay niche, most of the people are just getting $0.05 per click or even lower

 

Yeah, 54 clicks isn't a lot, so I can see it going to $4.16 I use adsense on my blog, but I don't earn near as much as that.

No they didn't. The average click rating was 11cents a click 3yrs ago and now its 7cents a click.

Example: Yesterday for one of my sites it got 71clicks and earned $6.08. $6.08dividedby71=085.
That's an average of 8cents a click. Its normal.

No you have an average adsense start up. Don't listen to those clowns around DP yabbering about how they get 200 clicks a day and make $90. Its unrealistic.

hello friends,
i have got 7,361 impressions according to adsense and 97 clicks till date. its about 10-12 days i setup my adsense account.
Earnings are going down and down.
For my starting days (i mean first 3-4 days) i had an average about 0.05$ for a click earning.
But Now it has gone down dramatically...
since last days for 37 clicks i have not earned 1$ (exactly 0.78$)

My Total Earnings:
Clicks : 97
Estimated Earnings : 5.63$

1. Is adsense playing with me?

2. Making Adsense Ads open in new window affect earnings?
(the feature is available in adsense itself and its not illegal)

3. is Modifying adsense code like this harmful for me?
removing <!--- and ----> and some other needless little stuff.

 

I think it is based on your keyword and what country does your visitor came from. There are high paying keyword and maybe what you have now is classify on low paying keywords. It also defends on competitors and advertiser. When it comes in modifying your adsense, there are also factors that affect your earnings like, colors, size and placement.

 

Its not just you but also me. But I am optimistic enough that one day I can make my AdSense work and I am currently working on it

and my today's sixth click worth about 1.36$ and so i reached 1$ in a day for the first time. lol

 

some time your website getting visitors from asian countries like pakistan, indian and SR. these coutries cliks not give you good rates. you have to chose keyword which search in USA and UK then you can get good earning.

Travel and hotel keywords are highest paid keywords.
