Most hosting companies will walk you through this but basically, you need to login to your domain registrar account (i.e. GoDaddy, NetworkSolutions, etc.), add in the NameServers that your hosting company provides (or setup your own like AFRAID.ORG or EVERYDNS.NET), then upload your html/php/images/etc to your server.

Jerome, are your domains from godaddy to ?

if so login to your godaddy account.
    1. click domains > my domains
    2. select the check boxes next to each of your domains
    3. click the name servers button above the list of your domains.
    4. click default name servers then click host name servers ratio button then click the okay button.

it will take up to 72hours before the domains are fully usable.

Yea, I have registered in Both Godaddy and in DH.

So there is no need of a separate hosting account?

With wealthy affiliate they now have FREE hosting for 3 domains when you sign up for them. Im running fxfresh.com with them - they also have tools to automatically setup wordpress for you. Pretty nice! If you have 3 sites it pays for the membership alone.

read the rules no affilate links in posts.

jerome you don't have to purchase hosting as you do get free hosting when you purchase a domain, the hosting is ad supported so it's best to just purchase cheap hosting like you did.

Get a webspace(free/paid), the providers will provide you nameservers, which you need to enter with the steps shown above. Once this is done, its completed. Upload the content and you'll have your own website.

    Multiple Domains

If you have multiple domains you have 2 options.

The first option is to purchase a deluxe hosting account with GoDaddy. (That would be the middle tier plan). You can host multiple domains with that hosting account.

The other option is to setup folders on your main hosting account, "the cheap version", for each of your domains. Then forward and mask the domains for each domain to the subfolder that matches their domain.

For example if the main domain for the hosting account was domain1.com:

domain2.com would forward to domain1.com/domain2 and would be masked as www.domain2.com.

Then repeat for each domain in your list of domains. For the main site you would do the same thing and forward to domain.com/domain.

Installation of PHP Scripts at GoDaddy

Now for the issues with WordPress and Joomla. They are easily installed at GoDaddy. Just go to GoDaddy Hosting Connection and install the applications from there. It used to be called Metropolis I think. This is your best option if you don't know how to install PHP scripts and deal with getting information about MySQL databases and settings. This will install both the MySQL database and WordPress/Joomla program.
