hello, i can you help me , how can i have active forum mean people create topic or answer topic and have online and active user.
For that to happen, you have to continuously add content, promote the forum and make sure it is seoed properly to get traffic from search engine. However the initial step always is to ensure you post quality and original content on your forum that people will find interesting. As the content starts to build up, more and more people will join in and then you can start focusing on promoting the forum more than posting the content but initially your majority of time should go in producing the content or paying others to produce it for you.
I started my forum 5 months ago, it's a lot of work I have reached just over 5000 post but that wasn't easy. Here are some of the method that I have applied: Seeding, ask yourself questions I made three accounts and basically answered my own questions, every once in awhile I got a new members to reply to the topic. I watch my competition closely, if something new came in the industry I started a thread on that subject. Invited my friends to join. Created topics that were not related to my subject matter, where members can post what ever they wanted. Added more BBcodes, like youtube, breakvideo and fun codes. I stayed online all day just kept the forum running in the back ground at least when some one came they could see people online. Kept adding new mods to enhance the board in my opinion a vanilla board is not unique so I changed my style, I used a new style and modified that to some extend. But heres the biggest thing that makes it work, CONTENT, for example I joined this forum because the content was informative and helpful, 6 months ago I had no clue about any of this I wanted like everyone else for my forum to be successful, I came here because the content was just what I was looking for, I posted to get more help, I joined because of the CONTENT, ask yourself this why did you join? Its starts with you build content. This is what I did to get it going I recently posted for a review about my forum, from the feed back I got i'm doing ok, So i hope this will help you in some way.
yogesh sarkar yes , in about 2 - 3 week i have about 2,750 page Results ( i use site:mydomain.com ) in google ! and have visior form google every day . also people register but no create topic or reply post !
Create one in your mother tongue... People like an active admin, and part of being a good admin is having your userbase understand what you are saying. Don't get me wrong, I am not trying to say anything bad about you, but honestly, if I logged into a forum that was not yet active, and the admin was talking in broken english, I'd be really turned off. Additionally, have a forum based on a topic YOU have a passion about, not just something you think will make you money...if you are in it for the money, chances are your forum will horribly flop.
I accept. You can't maintain a forum which is not in your interest. You'll be annoyed to maintain such a forum one day. And create many accounts. Forum is not like an ordinary website where visitors are just visitors. In forum, each visitor is considered as a guest or a member. So, even if you have some traffic, your visitor won't bother that. What he need is just active people in your forum. So nothing wrong in creating accounts by yourself and chatting with yourself as far as possible. You'll find other people posting obviously.
your forum must contain topics not just of interest to you, but also topics that most people can relate to so they will keep coming back. more importantly, you have to love what you do so you will have the passion to keep it going. good luck...

It really depends, though having a place for fun & games CAN keep members around that would otherwise only check once a week...just make sure that such a place does not distract from the rest of the site, as that is a turn off to serious members. Downloads can also be nice, and unique downloads are even nicer. Mobile? I dunno... I never looked into it.
thanks for the tips, i also recently started a forum and so far have myself the only one posting there.lol. creating a another user to boost conversation sounds good.
