You could build in some sort of cache function so you don't have to access the API for every thing.

 

The right place to look for developer APi documentation related to Yahoo is to go to developer.yahoo.com and then download the documentations and study the sample code.

If you have problems understanding the form, i don't think the Yahoo API is right foryou. You need to understand programming to use the API.

 

Is there no way of getting a Yahoo API without being a developer? I need the api for my google xml sitemap plug-in so I can ping Yahoo after each post on my blog

 

Start pinging Mybloglog.com then (it's a part of Yahoo like Feedburner is a part of Google).

If you use Wordpress for your blog you just need to edit the settings in the admin area under Writing.
