how can i get traffic?

    i have a new forum, looking to drive some traffic in and get some hits..

    i have some bots on right now like google spyder, or yahoo slupr and stuff like that, do those work??

    what advertiseing do you suggest? like traffic wise.. i need people signing up and posting..

    You can buy some traffic to start your forum. Make a nice landing page and get people's eye ball..Google adwords is the best if you have enough budget since certain words are expensive...:)

    Concerning your new forum, and a need for traffic and some hits..

    I don't know much about bots or the likes of Google spyder, slupr and stuff like that, they may work after you learn to use them.

    May I suggest a way to generate some free hits?

    This does require a bit of honest work...it's a no cost solution.

    You could try Google AdWords, Yahoo Search Marketing or MIVA for paid traffic to your site.

    Adwords is good.. and you might want to hire posters in the beginning.. i heard that you can do it on the content section.. im new so i dunno the exact details
