How can i get traffic to my website..?

Yu need to market your client's site.
Do some SEO and Link Building. Traffic will increase slowly.

 

There is no quick fix solution to this problem. You need to concentrate on link building activities such as article submission, directory submission, press releases etc. If you want instant traffic, then go for Adwords. However, do remember that the cost would be on higher side. Be prepared for it.

 

thanks angilina for responding....as you told me i takes time and i need to do work...well i m working on website...but i m getting very low traffic as i m in very initial stage of off page optimization...can you help me out...how can i increase traffic through social networking...where do i plugged my link so i can get the traffic

this is an auction website and contain lots of images...and so far serps rising question ...i m glad that the website is now ranking in top 10 position from few of the keywords

 

It is easy to get traffic...what you want is conversions.

are you ranking for your key words? If not, you need back links, preferably from related sites. as well as optimized content and site structure.

If you are ranking on the first page of google for all your key words, then you may be in a niche that doesn't have a lot of interest. I have a website that ranks #1 for all its keywords, but only gets 5-10 organic search hits from google a day. The product is not that popular, but we get a few sales a month and the average sale is a few hundred dollars, so the site does very nicely.

Adding a blog to the site itself will allow for even more possibilities. Be sure to find sites with related content if you trade links. Make helpful comments on related blog posts for links back to your blog or website. Yahoo Answers, Submitting videos to YouTube, the list goes on and on.

well, I suppose the better method to get traffic is the social network links..you can get tons of visitors from myspace, facebbook and may different website..even social book mark is a good way..but I am afraid of the bounce rate...

My advises are: first of all you must be patient and you must wait, it can pass a long hole year before you can became known in your new branch. I know is hard to be. But something good: Google will index your blog very fast. From now on is only your own effort.

- Write stuff that people want to read and share.
-Install a RSS buton to inform the others when you write something new.
-Be topical and write posts that need to be read right now.
- Share your expertise generously so people recognize and apreciate you.
- Run no ads.
- Adhere to the principles of copywriting.
- Edit nice titles of the articles, and have your blog optimized for SEO.
- Don't interrupt your writing with a lot of links.
- Write at least one post a day.
