How can i get traffic to my website..?

Hello everyone my question is that how can i get traffic on my website..one of my client is demanding 200 of daily page visit but i m unable to do so.
Can you please tell me the way or procedure to get more and more traffic to the website irrespective of targeted

 

backlinks, social bookmarks, Article Submissions, Blog Commenting, Directory Submissions, Forum Topic Posting. I'm new like you but learning quick make sure they are related to your website as well i found that out lol.

 

dear i am aware of all these stuff....but i can't get the traffic.....i read that social bookmarking can get throw to your website lots of visitors...i m doing social book marking but unable to find a way to advertise my website

 

The only social bookmarking traffic I ever got so far was from StumbeUpon. I got 500 visitors in one night, the next day I got about 100 and now I barely get any traffic from it; 10 visits today, I'm on the 3rd day.

I think I might have got banned from Digg because I can't log in or sign up. I used Digg on my old website but it was a news website and I think I got banned because it was rewritten content, but now I want to Digg the unique content from my blogs but I cant!

but what technique you apply that you get 500 visitors i searched a lot but i can't get a single people from there

Tell your client to outsource the marketing part of his project. You are clearly not ready to market your own site let alone a clients..

If your website is fresh, meaning a few months since you bought the domain this social bookmarking can be a bit tricky.

How's so? Well, let's say you publish your article link to Facebook. The best chance is that Facebook being older and having a higher Page Rank, being more trustworthy in Google, in a Google search Facebook appears as a first result for certain keywords of your article/link. Now, let's suppose a visitor clicks the Facebook results and he ends up on the page where your link of your article has been published. Then, he can get distracted as in he sees an interesing ad or sees other more interesting links on that page. He might not even click and check your article at all.

Even though I've recently started a new blog, I know this fact I spoke of above because I have a personal blog too but it is written in Romanian and with that blog happened this to me. First Google results were Facebook, other times Digg etc.. My best recommendation is try to get backlinks organically. That means, commenting, being active, giving feedback to people on forums etc.. Get involved. People eventually will start look for you. People will eventually RE-TWEET links of your article. And don't stop creating fresh content. Write, write and write. Original content if it is possible.

 

You cannot get such traffic in one or two days

You will have to do work continuously on your client site. I suggest you tell your client that SEO needs some time.

The best way to get traffic fast will be via article submission to only top few directories. This will also help in SEO.

You may get some traffic from forum signatures too.

 

I'd say apply to get a lot of affiliates. Also, use twitter to help bring people to your site!

articles and social bookmarking can bring you much traffic easily, but not so useful traffic.
But natural traffic is quite hard job for many niches

seo is the longer term solution but if you need traffi now then adwords is for you, just make sure you time time to read up on how it works. I read recently a lady who was new at internet marketing and wanting to increase her traffic, built up a bill of $32,000, yes you read that right!!!! overnight by getting all her setting wrong so be careful, you can lose alot of money on adwords.
